Synopsis
The 5 regions in High & Low are called S.W.O.R.D which is the first name of each gang, the 5 regions are Sannoh Rengokai, White Rascals, Oya Koukou, Rude Boys and Daruma Ikka.
Oya Koukou
Oya Koukou is an unusual school. Oya Koukou is the center where the school thugs gather. The academic learning system at this school is divided into two between part time and full time students. The rule at the legendary Oya Koukou school is that if a student is still able to stand after getting 100 hits, then that student has the right to be the leader at Oya Koukou school. The only student who was able to take 100 hits was a man named Yoshiki Murayama (Yuki Yamada).
Since being led by Yoshiki Murayama, Oya Koukou has become one of the big SWORD groups.
Housen Toarushi
Housen Academy is known as a school that has extraordinary cohesiveness, if one person from that school is hit, then one school will hit back. Housen Academy has a mortal enemy from Suzuran High School, including Toarushi's Big Four.
Within the Housen Academy there was only one ruling leader in his generation. Housen is also very well known for his bald student heads except for their leader or also known as the Skinhead Army. The term Skinhead Army arose because of an old tradition in which all students, apart from the leader, were obliged to shave their heads.
Housen Academy has an army that can be used to annihilate their enemies. Housen's troops are called Housen Killer Corps. The Housen Killer Corps is always trying hard to prove that they are the most powerful and should be feared by all other groups.
Conflict in Oya Koukou
The gang leader of part-time student Oya Koukou, Yoshiki Murayama (Yuki Yamada), is challenged by full-time student Atsushi Hanaoka (Kawamura Rima) who desperately wants to take over the throne of Oya Koukou.
The Full Time students are made up of strong people who include Yosuke Todoroki (played by Kouki Maeda), Choi (played by Suzuki Suzuki), Shibaman (played by Ryu), and one year old Chuetsu (played by Tamasu Kamio), Nakaoka ( played by Ken Nakajima), Taishi (played by Ryuji Sato).
The balance has been kept by the Full time student Oya Koukou now it's falling apart and there are groups that always compete in a terrifying competition. Oya Koukou fought in his own house.
The full-time student leader, Todoroki, who has tremendous power seems to be in conflict with Fujio Hanaoka (Kazuma Kawamura), a transfer student whose goal is to become a full-time student leader at Oya Koukou.
Besides Fujio Hanaoka, there are other students who are also new students at Oya Koukou, namely Tsukasa Takagi (played by Hokuto Yoshino), Nakagoshi (played by Fuju Kamio), and Yasushi (played by Ryuji Sato). With so many new students, Oya Koukou School enters an era of fearsome competition and each group in the school will directly participate in a fierce battle.
Oya Koukou vs Housen Academy
In one of the towns in the SWORD area, Toru City, an army that is believed to be the cutest of all the skinheads in Housen Academy, has experienced an increase in strength.
Housen, considered the strongest in the past, is led by leader Sachio Ueda (played by Jun Shison), with four members Odajima Yuken (Shiono Nobuhisa), Shoji Sawamura (Kotouri), Hideaki Inagawa (Shin Koyanagi), Kenzo Shida (Atsushi Arai). Coupled with Sabakan (played by Ryotaro Sakaguchi) and others, has the strongest formation.
In a state of high tension, the Housen students were attacked by students pretending to be Oya Koukou students, and the students from Oya Koukou were also attacked by those pretending to be Housen students.
After the attack, the two schools clashed with each other and the Oya Koukou vs Housen Academy battle began. The ultimate battle was inevitable.
