Logan
Synopsis
Logan takes the story in the year 2029 when mutants are on the verge of extinction following the release of the virus by Transigen. The few surviving mutants; Logan (Hugh Jackman), Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart), and Caliban (Stephen Merchant), their condition is quite alarming.
Logan, who is now earning a living as a limo driver, has aged with his regeneration abilities no longer functioning properly and the adamantium embedded in his body is slowly but surely starting to poison him. Assisted by Caliban, who is able to track the whereabouts of mutants, Logan takes care of Charles, who suffers from Alzheimer's at the age of 9 and can no longer control his powers which are said to be able to trigger mass death if not treated immediately.
They live the monotonous day after day in an abandoned warehouse near the Mexican border to avoid the unwanted until the arrival of an 11-year-old girl, Laura (Dafne Keen), changes everything. It is said that Laura, who inherited Logan's DNA, is being hunted by Transigen. In order to save Laura's life, Logan and Charles take a long road trip to Eden, a sanctuary for mutants.
