Synopsis
“They think I’m hiding in the shadows, but I am the shadows,” – Batman.
In his sophomore year as Batman (Robert Pattinson), Bruce Wayne struggles to find his place as a crime hunter. He instills fear in those who commit crimes, but with his vigilante methods.
The reason is, because he still has not earned the trust of people, except for Lieutenant James "Jim" Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) who allows Batman to investigate the crime scene with him. The next case he has to face is a murder case and the victim is Mayor Don Mitchell Jr (Rupert Penry-Jones).
There is a person suspected of being the mastermind behind the murder, namely someone who calls himself The Riddler (Paul Dano). Batman also began to collect clues left by the killer after he carried out the action.
With the help of Selina Kyle (Zoe Kravitz) who becomes a waitress at club mob boss Carmine Falcone (John Turturo), Batman works to solve the mystery before The Riddler can claim its next victim. The mystery that led him to a big secret about Gotham and also about his family.
